MTV Geek has just launched a free online version of Kody Chamberlain and Joshua Hale Fialkov’s Punks comic. There is also a great interview with the creators on the site. MTV Geek has a ton of comics content already online and it’s all pretty much free so check it out.
Punks is a humor strip that is very dada in both its writing and construction. All the pages are hand-assembled with photocopies and then embellished by Kody before being scanned in. There is a very 80’s ‘zine flashback to this comic and that alone makes it worth the experience. The comic is powered by comiXology and you can launch their reader on the spot.
